Barry T. Reece, M.S., M.B.A.

Barry Reece, co-founder and managing partner of RCTS, has more than 20 years of experience in the cosmetics and personal care industry. He received a B.S. in Microbiology in 1986, and an M.S. in Biology in 1988, from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1993 he earned his M.B.A. from the University of Dallas. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Reece was employed by Mary Kay Cosmetics, where he held key positions in both Research & Development and International Business Development. As a member of the Research and Development team, he managed the Claims Substantiation Laboratory, where he was responsible for the development and execution of all claims substantiation studies carried out in support of the various product lines. During his tenure in Research & Development, he regularly presented his work at scientific meetings and published articles on in vivo and in vitro efficacy methods development. After receiving his M.B.A., Mr. Reece transferred to Mary Kay’s European region as Manager of European Operations. During his tenure with the company’s International Business Development division, he was responsible for the launch of Mary Kay operations in England, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
